Patients are responsible for telephoning the health centre for the results of investigations and blood tests that are ordered directly by a GP (please telephone after 2.00pm), this includes x-rays and ultrasound scans which are requested directly by a GP.

Re: hospital tests - please note that the result of any investigation requested by a hospital doctor is the responsibility of that doctor. The hospital doctor is then responsible for informing the patient of the result.
